Installation support

Our technical experts can assist with the installation of systems and equipment at your site. Support can be provided at any moment as part of equipment maintenance, complete rebuild services, as well as new equipment installation support.

 

Commissioning

We know how important it is to provide support to you during both the planning and execution of any equipment or system purchased. This includes sending skilled and experienced technicians, craftsmen and engineers to provide guidance and complete equipment/process operation tasks. We offer both remote and onsite support.

 

Mechanical equipment inspection services

We will provide the inspection services of highly experienced and specialised technicians, who will check all aspects of your equipment, such as installation conditions, process connections, equipment mounting, paint condition, and control system. If required, our inspector will request a partial disassembly of the machine to inspect internal components.

 

Testing

Our FLSmidth Minerals Testing and Research Centre provides metallurgical testing for ore amenability, process and flowsheet development and plant design. We analyse new and existing ore bodies and flowsheets to optimise grade and recovery, improving your productivity. We also offer testing services in most chemical and physical processing applications, including gravity separation.

 

Pilot testing

We deliver turnkey pilot plant systems with a full range of services to transform proof-of-concept bench-scale tests into continuous pilot plant operations.

Audits

We understand that you want continued support so that your equipment and/or systems continue to be reliable and have a long, trouble-free life. We routinely send quality assurance professionals to generate evaluations and make recommendations for corrective actions and preventative maintenance.

 

We offer support throughout the life of our equipment. Beginning with installation, commissioning, and advisory services, we provide site management, process specialist support and first-time spares – everything from spare parts to audits, repairs and maintenance support.

 

Training

We provide both on- and off-site training to give you a general understanding of operating principles associated with all equipment and processes. Training documents, training sessions and videos are provided illustrating the capabilities of unit equipment and process areas, along with recommendations and best practices as recommended by our experts.

 

Experts will lead all training in their field with a focus on process understanding, operations and required maintenance of purchased equipment. 

All our products and processes include detailed IOM manuals to be used during both commissioning and normal operation of all equipment. These documents provide guidance for both operations and maintenance groups. The documents will outline necessary inspections and routine preventative maintenance in a step-by-step fashion to help guide your personnel.
