How a single REFLUX™ Flotation Cell could replace up to 10 conventional flotation cells
Testing of the REFLUX™ Flotation Cell (RFC) in copper and molybdenum flotation applications has shown its potential to significantly improve cleaning performance, within a reduced flotation footprint and with much lower energy consumption.

The trials at an Australian copper mine and a North American molybdenum mine demonstrated production of on-spec concentrate while:
- Reducing energy consumption by up to 60%
- Reducing flotation footprint by 50%
- Increasing recovery by 5% to 8%
- Increasing throughput by 10%
- Cutting CO2e by 60%
The RFC is designed to enhance the hydrodynamics of flotation to achieve a significantly more efficient flotation process. These studies have confirmed the potential for this innovative technology to deliver on that promise and offer single-stage cleaning in place of up to ten conventional flotation cells.
