Our gravity concentration equipment has been synonymous with gravity recovery since 1978 and offers a robustly engineered design for long operational life with high availability and minimal maintenance requirements.

 

Complete gravity systems can be customised to easily fit into existing plants while plant integrated automation packages allow the gravity system to operate autonomously with little user interface. Fluidised bed technology is used to prevent dewatering while maximising available recovery surface area. The machines are also capable of processing feed densities of up to 75%, making them truly advanced and worth the investment.

 

Knelson™ Semi-Continuous Gravity Concentrator

The Knelson Semi-Continuous Gravity Concentrator is known globally for its leading capabilities in gold recovery, fine gold recovery and the recovery of other precious metals. It is available in a range of model sizes that will suit sites’ requirements. It is highly configurable and has a capacity range from laboratory scale up to 1000 tonnes of solids per hour.

 

The concentrator utilises a rotating assembly and includes the latest design in concentrate cone technology and features advancements in the upper and lower frames. It has been engineered to combine centrifugally enhanced gravitational forces with a fluidised bed process to optimise precious metals recovery.

 

Knelson™ Continuous Variable Discharge Concentrator

A variant of the semi-continuous unit, Knelson Continuous Variable Discharge Concentrator (CVD), is engineered to address the specific mineral recovery applications where the feed contains a high content of the target mineral. The CVD Concentrator uses similar principles of mineral separation and recovery to that of the Knelson Semi-Continuous Concentrator. The CVD technology differs by discharging a continuous stream of concentrate while simultaneously processing fresh feed, whereas the other units must be stopped intermittently to remove the high-grade concentrate.

 

It is also the only continuous gravity concentrator available that utilises the patented fluid-bed feature for ensuring separation of high and low specific gravity minerals.  This fluidisation feature also ensures that the feed, concentrate and tails will not plug, bridge or pack as can happen with un-fluidised gravity systems.

 

MT3500 Shaking Table

The MT3500 Shaking Table is designed to separate minerals based on specific gravity parameters. This technology is typically used for upgrading gold, platinum, and other precious metals from less dense gangue materials to a high-grade final concentrate. Separation is accomplished by a combination of a strike-time cycle and a perpendicular crossflow of dressing water. It provides reliable and effective concentration treatment, designed for optimum metals recovery.

 

ATS3500 Automated Tabling System

The ATS3500 Automated Tabling System is a variant shaking table system complete with all of the necessary processes and control equipment to upgrade the Knelson concentrate in a fully automated operation. Similar to other automated machinery, it can be integrated into plant systems.

 

Consep Acacia Intensive Cyanidation System

The Consep Acacia Intensive Cyanidation System consists of an up-flow fluidised reactor for the leaching of Knelson Concentrates. Consep Acacia has been developed and optimised to produce the ideal solid-liquid interaction for maximised gold leaching reaction kinetics without mechanical agitation. It too is fully automated and designed for ease of integration into the complete gravity circuit.
