How they work

The bucket wheel rotates and its mounted buckets dig material from the pile. These buckets feed the material into the transfer chute, which, in turn, feeds the material onto the boom conveyor. In many cases, the stackers and reclaimers use a common conveyor.

Mobile Bucket Wheel Reclaimers can be used for longitudinal reclaiming in combination with a stacker, to allow stacking and reclaiming at the same time. The bridge-type bucket wheel reclaimer is used for longitudinal and circular stockyards that require material blending.

PR100

This is a pylon-type, bucket wheel reclaimer with boom, which will reclaim large volumes of bulk material from stockpiles. The PR100 is popular in low- to medium-bulk-density applications and medium ore applications. It can be supplied in numerous configurations and sizes, with booms up to 60 m (197 ft) in length, and capacities of up to 12,000 tph (13,230 stph).

PR200

The PR200 is a rocker-type, bucket wheel reclaimer with boom, designed to reclaim large volumes of bulk material from stockpiles. It is a heavy-duty machine that offers very high capacities and an economical rail gauge, as it maximises the usable width of the stockyard. The PR200 can be supplied in a number of configurations and sizes, with booms up to 60 m (197 ft) in length, and reclaiming capacities of up to 20,000 tph (22,050 stph).

PR300

Our bridge-type bucket wheel reclaimer, the PR300, is designed for reclaiming material from stockpiles where the efficient blending of material and homogenisation is a primary requirement. The PR300 offers high storage widths, high reclaiming rates and high homogenisation levels. It is typically used in the coal, iron and steel industries, and delivers capacities of up to 6,000 tph (6,610 stph). Rakes direct the flow of material to the base of the pile, where it is scooped up by buckets and discharged onto a cross conveyor.
