When we brought out the new JETFLEX burner, SRMG was interested – but hesitated over the cost. With two spare burners on site, they asked the question: is it possible to upgrade one of these to benefit from some of the JETFLEX design improvements?


We took the challenge and ran with it, making minor modifications to the Duoflex burner that cost a fraction of the price of replacement – but had a huge impact on performance. The idea was simple: Replace the distorted air annulus with the JETFLEX design’s twin air rings, giving the old burner a new primary air system. Better flame shape. Reduced emissions. Consistently high clinker quality. SRMG was so delighted with the results that we’ve been asked to upgrade a second burner in the same way.
