Armed with a basic drawing pack provided by the customer, we conducted an extensive engineering and service review and prepared a proposal. The time given was very short, as the plant was already in negotiations with another major OEM. However, our team worked hard to present not only our qualifications for this project, but also our unique sales and service approach. The hard work paid off, and RHI Magnesita selected our proposal for the project.


High skill levels, local presence

The success of our project came down to the strength of our ENAR teams from Sales, Product, Project and Service, who were committed to working as one unit to build up the real scope and model that the customer needed. This included logistics and a local workshop partner.

The Onshore team was led by ENAR Regional Project Sales Wiesbaden, with Service team colleagues from FLSmidth Wiesbaden (Oelde) for the key technical installation elements. Site teams worked holistically and hand in hand with strong project management from Wiesbaden.

One happy ending creates more new beginnings

Despite Covid-hit suppliers and logistic issues, our team successfully delivered, installed and commissioned the RHI Magnesita supply package on time and with a full acceptance. At peak times, we operated with 30 service personnel under contract.


As a result of this project, we have formed an excellent relationship with RHI Magnesita, and will be working with them on some interesting MissionZero-related test projects, looking specifically at the potential for oxyfuel technology.
