We are committed to respecting all international human and labour rights and adhering to them is non-negotiable and inherent to the way we do business. We proactively manage human rights through due diligence, and we show our commitment by seeking full and progressive alignment with the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. We are also a signatory to the United Nations Global Compact, which we regard as a serious responsibility.

We acknowledge our responsibility by offering access to remedy where our business conduct has resulted in adverse impacts on these rights. We also recognise that human and labour rights cannot be taken for granted at supplier sites, which is why our suppliers must sign our Supplier Code of Conduct if they want to do business with us.

Our respect for human rights forms an integral part of our policy framework. Our Business Code of Conduct sets the standard for corporate integrity, anti-corruption and transparency among our employees. Our Diversity and Human Resources policies are based on the fundamental recognition that human and labour rights are essential for us as employers.

To access the human rights grievance and complaints system, call in by phone to anonymously report any human rights violations against yourself or others with which FLSmidth or our business partners may be involved. You can do so through our whistleblower hotline. More information
