Conversion assistance is an option which not only deals with all the relevant software but also focus on an easy migration path. FLSmidth takes the responsibility for the actual engineering required for migration to a new platform. It will secure that future migration conversion tasks are included in the fixed price.
The conversion tasks by FLSmidth will include installation of the software release(s) on hardware either on site or at our premises. In order to do this we develop or use conversion tools to import the data required from one system to the other.
The customer must supply a data back-up for the conversion if changes have occurred since the latest FLSmidth back-up.
If it is a dual server based system there will be no need for plant stop-time, as the change-over can take place "on-the-fly".
