Environmental sustainability in FLSmidth is incorporated in our Environmental Policy with our goal of developing processes, equipment and services toward the needs of our customers and their environmental targets.
However, environmental concern is also an internal matter. In year 2008, FLSmidth Executive Group Management decided that FLSmidth should join the Carbon Disclosure Project and since 2010 we have reported on the company’s greenhouse gasses caused by energy consumption in the group owned facilities (primarily CO2 emissions).
