Seminar Description

Objective
Our goal is to provide participants with information covering the entire production process and a forum where global cement specialists can benefit from the exchange of ideas and from each other and from the FLSmidth team.

The main areas of focus during the seminar will be a review of the cement processes and the function and design of main equipment, including the newest technology methods for optimisation and proposals for improvements, plant modernization and plant operation.

Target group
This seminar is for production managers, plant managers, general managers and production engineers with at least one year of experience in the cement industry.

Seminar plan
The International Cement Production Seminar consists of more than 30 lectures suported by group work and discussion groups, visits to cement plants to back up the theoretical learning, and a visit to the Technical University of Denmark. The seminar is comprised of three modules - each module lasting one week. You can register for all three weeks or choose only to participate in the weeks that is within your area of interest. This modular structure enables delegates to target their needs and gain maximum benefit of the modules they choose.

Module 1 and 3 are held at the Scandic Copenhagen Hotel in Denmark.

Module 2 includes plant visit tour to two cement plants in Florida, USA to supplement the theoretical learning.

Registration

Registration Fee
1 module: EUR 4,645 per participant
2 modules: EUR 8,895 per participant
3 modules: EUR 12,755 per participant

The registration fee includes

  • Training sessions

  • Single accommodation including full board and lodging (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) at Scandic Copenhagen Hotel 
  • Accomodation includes Saturday if both module 1 and 2 are chosen 
  • Free internet access including Skype 
  • Emergency medical insurance 
  • Laundry service

Week 2 also includes:

  • Single room accommodation with full board and lodging (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) at hotel chosen by FLSmidth
  • Travel arrangements from Copenhagen to plants

Please note: The fee does not include telephone calls, faxes, room services, private excursions and extended stay. During week 2 internet is not included.
