Course Description
Objective
After attending the course the articipants will understand the concept and applications of FLSmidth's QCX/Laboratory Automation product.
Learning objectives
The participants will gain understanding of the QCX system design and get to know normal operator functions for daily operation, gain overview of configuration possibilities and get to know how to use the system maintenance and trouble-shooting tools.
Benefits
The overview and knowledge gained from the course will improve the operation of the QCX system and in this way improve laboratory practices and cement production.
Course contents
The course introduces the FLSmidth QCX system and the QCX/Laboratory application module (LIMS) in ralation to laboratory functions on a cement plant and how this module interact with other optional QCX applications modules for mix control and laboratory automation.
Later covers some basic issues of good sampling practices and the "laboratory" side of a QCX/AutoSampling™ system.

The course is a combination of QCX Daily Use & Setup and QCX Reports.

The course is designed for Quality Managers and laboratory responsible personnel with QCX Base Training courses or prior operation in a cement laboratory.
