Seminar description

Objective
The International Maintenance Seminar addresses essential cost efficiency issues by putting great emphasis on the maintenance of the cement plant’s key machinery. The presentations cover some of the most important parameters related to cement plant maintenance such as:

  • Availability and cost – the key performance indicators
  • State of the art in maintenance
  • Main machinery particulars.

During the seminar you will meet technical specialists and trouble-shooters. You will be able to choose between topics and participate en group work and discussion groups - you are welcome to bring your own case for this purpose. The lessons will include real life case studies and hands-on presentations with equipment and instruments. We will visit a European plant including practical demonstrations of equipment and methods, and finally we offer a valuable international network on a managerial level, where you will get the opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences.

Target group
This seminar is primarily directed at maintenance managers and maintenance engineers. Future managerial persons, whether from maintenance or production, may also benefit significantly by participating. Minimum one year of experience is recommended.

Benefits
Economic advantages are obtained if the production line remains fully available throughout the campaign period. This is more likely to be the case if a planned and structured maintenance programme is implemented.

The International Maintenance Seminar is an excellent opportunity for upgrading of personal qualifications within the maintenance field.
