The Nucleus-L is the laboratory version of our successful container laboratory for OE-analysis Nucleus-C. It has more flexibility to include additional equipment and auxiliaries but can also be interesting for revamp projects of existing laboratory container / express labs in the process.
The sample flow is the same as on Nucleus-C: After cutting-off the filler pin with our PAL-CUT, the sample is introduced in the sample entry. Once the operator acknowledged the parameter at the touch panel, the sample will be transported in the robot cycle. If the temperature check is OK, the sample is introduced to the milling machine PAL-MIL where the sample surface is prepared for analysis with optical emission spectroscopy. Prior this a vision sensor checks the surface for holes and impurities. The analysed sample is stored in a storage box after being labelled.
