OLX900
The OLX900 on-line automatic analyser is applied for fully automatic process analysis of Ca, Al, Si, Fe in raw meal, cement or other powder materials. Other elements as Mg, S or other optional elements are available on demand. The analyser measuring features are based on market leading EDXRF technology from Oxford Instruments. The easy-to-install and low maintenance analyser system is located in a robust, air conditioned steel cabinet suited for industrial environment. Internal sample handling and preparation system consists of bypass tube for material flow with the sample dosing device, carousel table for sample transport, low pressure sample pelletizer, cleaning and discharging system. The analyser system is recommended to install in a small dust proof enclosure/shack/container. The enclosure/shack/container is equipped with air conditioner and power supply and can be supplied locally or by Autec. To ensure high performance of the analyser, it contains 2 internal references for device drift correction and for restandardization – SUSes, one customer’s reference sample is supported. The control system is based on Siemens S7-300 PLC with a touch-screen operator terminal. The software controls the automatic analysis cycle, manual or automatic sample loading and enables local and remote diagnostic, alarm & event reporting, analyser calibration and data presentation.
The connection to an external control system is via Ethernet or Profibus. Remote access to data diagnostic is supported by modem.
Rich set of selectable accessories as input mixer, vibration mill and average sample storage with or without mixer is available.
Application
Including contributions from the sampling process from material stream, the dynamic repeatability figures are equivalent to the performance of a traditional configuration of a high-powered laboratory XRF spectrometer and automatic sample preparation. In on-line mode, installed together with sampling system upstream of the raw mill in a cement plant, can be used as a source of results for raw mill blending control system. It provides faster feedback then standard sampling system with laboratory XRF machine, typically 6 – 7 minutes instead of standard 30 – 60 minutes.
