The FLSmidth shiploader is able to load ships up to 75.000 DWT by means of a loading bellow reaching a central loading point on the vessel with 1200 ton/h.
The cement enters a collecting kettle through a cement convey line. The air is then separated from cement and distracted by a filter cleaning unit. The cement dust in the filter cleaning unit drops back into the collecting kettle through a rotary valve. Then the cement in the collecting kettle flows through an airslide system into a bucket elevator. The bucket elevator drops the cement into a swiveling airslide system. An aerated airslide system mounted on top of a swiveling structure leads the cement to a loading bellow. The bottom side of the airslide system is aerated by blowers and the top side is dearated by fans. The destracted dust leads back into the cement collecting kettle. The system is monitored by a PLC
