Raptor Cone Crushers are the result of extensive research with the operators in the field. Our new design offers maximum productivity and maintenance benefits:

Size Reduction Versatility

The Raptor® High-Performance Cone Crushers are designed to operate and remain mechanically sound at lower eccentric speeds. The crusher speed can be selected to:

The versatile 500 hp XL500 Cone provides excellent secondary crushing capabilities, producing more material of desired cubicity and gradation than its competitors. It is a semi-portable unit offering higher capacity with multi-site setup flexibility.

The XL600 Cone can be installed to replace cone crushers with a 59-inch (1.5 m) head diameter or larger without major modifications to foundations or feed arrangements, allowing an increase in production capacity without major plant modifications.

The XL900 Cone can be installed to replace cone crushers with a 59-inch (1.5 m) head diameter or larger without major modifications to foundations or feed arrangements allowing for increasing production capacity without major plant renovations.

The XL1100 Cone can draw up to 1,200 hp and delivers production capabilities of up to 2,240 TPH (2,000 tonnes) at a 1-1/3-inch (35 mm) closed-side setting. The unit handles feed size up to 24 inches (620 mm)

The XL2000 Cone doubles the capacity of the XL1100 cone. This direct drive 2000 hp variable-speed machine has a significant eccentric throw and high-pivot point crushing action delivering production capabilities of up to 3,500 TPH (3,175 tonnes).

The XL500 Cone can accept feed that is up to 25 percent larger than can be accepted by a crusher with less throw or similar head diameter, while producing more material of desired cubicity and gradation than its competitors. With a maximum diameter of 148 inches (3.75 m) and weight of 106,500 lbs (48,300 kg), the crusher’s size allows flexibility for multi-site crushing opportunities.

The XL600 Raptor Cone Crushers’ innovative design is ideal for quarries needing a large secondary cone crusher with maximum throughput capacity that approaches the 1,000 TPH (907 tonnes). The XL600 handles feed sizes up to 14 inches (360 mm) with the most active feed opening of any competitive model providing better product shape for higher yields of salable product.

The XL900 Raptor Cone Crusher, with its large 71-inch (1.8 m) crushing head has a maximum throughput capacity of almost 1,400 TPH (1,270 tonnes), handles feed size up to 14.57 inches (313 mm) and easily allows a reduction ratio of up to 6:4. The active feed opening provides a desirable cubical product shape for higher yields of salable material.

Powered by a 1,000 hp motor, the XL1100 Cone is designed to operate and remain mechanically sound at a wide range of eccentric speeds. Because of this versatility, the eccentric speed can be selected to maximize throughput, size reduction and product yield. Ideal for high-tonnage mining operations, the unit handles feed size up to 24 inches (620 mm) and allows a reduction ratio of up to 6:4.

The XL2000 Cone is ideal for high-tonnage mining operations and allows operators to reduce their circuit while increasing overall crushing throughput. The XL2000 cone offers several new features from FLSmidth, including double-acting tramp release and clearing cylinders and easy access to critical load carrying bearings.

Package Lube & HPU

The Package Lube System is designed and sized to provide the necessary supply of clean and cooled lubrication oil and is available in an air-cooled or water-cooled package, depending on requirement. Both systems feature a skid-mounted reservoir with one or two lube oil pump and motor assemblies and include:

    Sentinel™ Advanced Hydraulic System

    Sentinel Advanced Hydraulic System

    Sentinel retrofit in progress at the FLSmidth Pekin factory. Retrofits can also be performed on site.

     

    This industry-leading retrofit system offers an affordable aftermarket solution for aggregate producers and mining operators to automate cone crusher’s clearing capabilities while avoiding the required capital outlay of a new crusher purchase.

    Manual crusher cavity clearing is a dangerous and time-consuming process which creates additional costs due to hours of required downtime. An automated cavity clearing system provides:

    • Safe, virtually instant lift of the cone crusher’s bowl in the event of a tramp iron incident 
    • Ability for uncrushable material to drop out of the bottom of the crusher 
    • Cavity clearing in less than 15 minutes if uncrushable material does not immediately pass 
    • Constant clamping force between the adjustment ring and the mainframe, reducing “ring-bounce”

     

    The Sentinel™Advanced Hydraulic System offers:

    • Reliable remote power unit with user-friendly controls 
    • Installation requires little or no modification to the existing cone frame 
    • Tramp release cylinders feature unique protective boots to minimize potential damage and dust contamination to the cylinders 
    • A bowl adjustment option for quick adjustment of the closed-side setting (CSS) and simplified liner changes

     

    The Sentinel Advanced Hydraulic System is currently available for retrofitting specific crusher models from 4-1/4 ft. through 7 ft. in diameter.
