How it works
FLSmidth's ACI technology captures Hg and other heavy metals, dioxins and furans - as well as other pollutants - by injecting activated carbon into the flue gas in the duct leading to a dust filter.
Pollutants adsorb to the surface of the carbon and are precipitated with the dust captured in the filter. The ACI system can be used in connection with a Gas Suspension Absorber (FLS-GSA®) to enhance removal of heavy metals and/or dioxins/furans.
