Optimal rotor stability
The shrouded impeller with S-shaped blades ensures optimal rotor stability and low risk for dust build-up. The impeller is bolted to a cast hub. The hub and impeller are dynamically balanced to ensure vibration-free operation. Access doors make it easy to inspect the impeller.
Heavy-duty design
Because of the fan’s heavy-duty design, no emergency (barring) drive is required in the event of power cuts.
Self-aligning roller bearings
All MT fans are fitted with spherical, self-aligning roller bearings. The unique FLS bearing housings with conical grease valve ensure optimal lubrication and eliminate problems by overfilling. The bearing housings are bolted to a heavy base frame grouted in the concrete foundation. A cooling disc on the shaft prevents overheating of the bearings.
Motor power transmission
Motor power is transmitted by a flexible coupling, V-belts (max. 250 W) or a gear unit.
