Success for FLSmidth's fully automated laboratory system in the steel industry

Having already in late 2010 received ArcelorMittal’s first order for a laboratory system, FLSmidth was in 2011 awarded yet another contract by ArcelorMittal – Eisenhüttenstadt for engineering and supply of an identical fully automated laboratory system for sample preparation and analysis of steel samples. The order is being handled by FLSmidth's office in Wuppertal, Germany.

Mr. Gernot Hanke, Investment Project Manager at ArcelorMittal- Eisenhüttenstadt  “ArcelorMittal and FLSmidth have enjoyed a very good and constructive co-operation during the implementation of the first stage of the expansion project,” says Mr. Gernot Hanke, Investment Project Manager at ArcelorMittal- Eisenhüttenstadt. It was a natural choice to select FLSmidth based on a favourable cost-benefit analysis as well as their references in the industry, but also the fact that the first stage of the expansion of the laboratory system is working to ArcelorMittal’s full satisfaction.

”For ArcelorMittal it has always been important that the solutions are reliable, robust and a field proven technology,” adds Mr. Wolfgang Weber, Regional Sales Manager, FLSmidth Wuppertal GmbH.
