FLSmidth committed to creating value through education
FLSmidth in India has entered into a strategic educational collaboration with the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IIT-M). FLSmidth fulfils the stringent assessment codes by the IIT-M Assessment Committee and has as a result been granted recognition as a research organization under IIT-M.
FLSmidth has been very active in development of its human resources through training and education and this pioneering initiative is expected to give research, development and innovation a significant thrust through industry-academia collaboration. FLSmidth will work closely with the academia through a combination of research projects, consultancy, student sponsorship and joint intellectual property development activities.
This collaboration is expected to serve as a catalyst in creating innovative intellectual property opportunities for innovative FLSmidth employees to further their careers by continuing a formal education through enrolment to a master degree in research and PhD programs with one of the most reputed institutes in India.
