FLSmidth awarded contract for Escondida Laguna Seca debottlenecking project in Chile
FLSmidth has received a contract from Minera Escondida for the supply of one ball mill for their copper plant in northern Chile. Minera Escondida is owned by Australian BHP Billiton.
The scope of supply includes one gearless mill drive ball mill.
FLSmidth’s Salt Lake City and Bethlehem offices in the US are working closely with the engineering and construction company in the execution of the contract.
This project highlights FLSmidth’s extensive experience in providing very large and innovative gearless milling technology.
