Our Duoflex burner is now even better
Members of R&D and the Fuel Systems department have jointly developed the next generation of the Duoflex burner, to be known as the Duoflex G2.
First introduced to the market in the mid-1990’s, the Duoflex burner has been a tremendously successful product with over 300 sales worldwide and strong brand reputation.
While the fundamental design and functionality of the burner remains the same as before, various updates with unique design elements, greater alternative fuel flexibility, and simplified maintenance have culminated into the official release of the new burner. The Duoflex G2 is from January 2008 the new standard, and all burners that have not been order-handled to date will be of the latest design. The first Duoflex G2 has already been sold to Buxton Lime Industries in England as a replacement of the originally supplied Duoflex, with a scheduled start-up this Spring.
The key features of the Duoflex G2 are as follows:
• Replaceable high-pressure central duct nozzle
• Inclined nozzle for alternative fuel
• Automatic air nozzle centring device
• Temperature measurement for early detection of refractory failure
There are also a number of optional features, most notably the completely replaceable outer tip pipe and refractory.
