A bio-fuel solution

Rising fuel prices and a growing emphasis on reducing CO2 emissions from fossil fuels make bio-fuels and other alternative fuels an attractive solution for many cement and minerals.

One particularly promising bio-fuel solution is wood powder firing (WPF), which is well proven for lime reburning kilns and also directly applicable to any pyroprocessing plant that has a kiln or a calciner.
