How it works

Installing an SNCR system from FLSmidth is a reliable and effective way to reduce nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions. The employed reagent, an aqueous ammonia solution, reacts with the process gas, reducing the NOx to form elemental nitrogen (N2). It provides an ammonia utilisation degree of up to 80% under ideal conditions – a very cost-efficient and highly competitive reagent utilisation.

SNCR systems are suitable for new and existing dry kiln systems and can be customised to fit most kiln systems in operation or on the market today. Comprising any number of ammonia reagent storage tanks with unloading and supply pump units, control- and measuring modules, injection modules and specially engineered spray lances with nozzles, they come complete with a standardised FLSmidth control system and can be CE-marked as an entity.
