Gas Analysis

FLSmidth specialises in gas analysis systems for measurement of gases in the cement, minerals and combustion industries.

Our GASloq analysis systems may be installed with different kinds of analysers for measurement of i.e. O₂, CO, CO₂, NOx, SO₂ and carbon dioxides according to the needs of the customer. The measurement principle may be either in-situ or extractive with electro-chemical, IR, paramagnetic, UV, CLD, FID or laser detectors.

For measurement of emission gases, FLSmidth is also able to deliver PC-based reporting systems developed for Windows. The systems calculate all necessary emission data such as composition of gases, dust loads, temperature, pressure and flow.

Gas Detection

Gas detection equipment must be used for protection of people in all places with the existence of toxic, flammable or damaging gases. FLSmidth market portable and stationary equipment for detection of oxygen as well as toxic and flammable gases from both Crowcon and GDS Technologies.

Gas detection equipment is primarily used for detection in closed areas such as sewers, tanks, pumping stations and cable ducts. However, to avoid fire or even explosions, it is also essential to install the equipment in areas where gas bottles are stored. In tunnels and indoor car parks, the equipment can be used for controlling the ventilation system to prevent the level of CO or NO_x becoming too high.
