Performance and Development Review

At FLSmidth we conduct annual Performance and Development Reviews (PDR). Currently these reviews take place in the major project centres in Denmark, India and the US. The ultimate goal is to implement the PDR system throughout the entire organisation.

The PDR process aims to enhance job satisfaction and, in that way, improve job performance. This is done by developing the knowledge, skills and attitudes of the individual employee in alignment with FLSmidth's goals and needs.

The PDR offers the employee and manager an opportunity to talk about the employee's performance and development and align future expectations. These are increasingly important issues for which everyday work often leaves very little time.

FLSmidth's Global Human Resources department uses the information and results from the PDR system to plan our development activities for the coming year. In that way we meet the needs of our employees and ensure that we maintain a consistently high level of competencies.
