Kovako
FLSmidth provides you with KOVAKO technology in pneumatic ship loading and unloading equipment.
KOVAKO Pneumatic Ship Loading and Unloading equipment
Kovako has a complete range of Standard Models, developed from years of experience. In 1979, Kovako was founded in the Netherlands as a manufacturer of pneumatic cement unloading systems from ship to storage. The first pneumatic ship unloader were mainly catered for the needs of the local market and therefore had only a limited unloading capacity of 100 t/h. Due to market requirements, Kovako has adjusted its scope of supply and is now able to offer a wide range of customized and standard models for pneumatic ship loading and unloading systems worldwide.
Together with the huge amount of know-how provided by the FLSmidth Group, Kovako has expanded from delivering single equipment items such as ship unloaders to the supply of equipment and engineering solutions for complete
import terminals. The ship unloader, the storage facility and even the bagging units are all fully integrated in the engineering of the terminal and delivered as standard pieces of equipment from the FLSmidth Material Handling Technology Center.
Furthermore, being part of a global company, Kovako has gained the advantage of the financial means to invest in R & D. This has enabled the Kovako brand to strengthen its market-leading position in an increasingly demanding and competitive market and to maintain a high level of technology.
The Kovako business is handled through the FLSmidth Material Handling Technology Center in Wadgassen, Germany.
