PMV is short for Preventive Maintenance Visit - included in your Service Agreement - and securing that your system is checked on a regular basis.
Preventive Maintenance Visits (PMV's) are regular, preplanned visits at your plant. One or more PMV's are included in a Service Agreement. During the PMV the specialist from FLSmidth Automation normally perform some of the following depending on the customer agreement:
- Test and verification of correct system functionality
- System revision of configurations
- Adjustment and calibration
- Updating (correction of system errors)
- Supervision of maintenance and follow-up on the maintenance programme
- Recommendations for changes and updates
- advice check of spare part kits
- Advanced informal training for the daily system users
