FLSmidth, Automation division, USA has signed a contract with Grupo Gloria to install the ECS/ProcessExpert^® system at the Yura Plant. The ECS/ProcessExpert^® and ECS/ Control Center^® systems will be integrated to enhance the automated process control of the existing vertical finish mill and the Plant’s new kiln and vertical raw mill.

ECS/ProcessExpert^® system is a high level process control solution used to stabilize and then optimize key plant processes, which can be supplied as a complete package or as a flexible toolbox for custom modeling and/or control applications. The latest ECS/ProcessExpert^® applications, including Model Predictive Control (MPC) technology, will be implemented; the commissioning of the vertical finish mill application is expected to be finished during the second quarter of 2010 and the kiln and vertical raw mill by the third quarter of 2011.

FLSmidth, Automation division, USA also have signed another contract with Cooperativa La Cruz Azul to install the ECS/ProcessExpert^® system at the Hidalgo Plant. The ECS/ProcessExpert^® system will be integrated with the ECS/Control Center^® solution to enhance automated process control of the kiln 8. The optimization of the kiln will significantly improve production, energy efficiency and reduce quality variations.
