The PFAFF AQS CENTAURUS - ALL IN ONE consists of an automatic fine grinding mill and automatic pelletizing press. Both components are integrated in one space-saving, soundproof housing. The system includes the grinding vessel of tungsten carbide, the press tool for steel rings (51,5 x 35 x 8,5 mm), steel ring cleaning and a magazine. The CENTAURUS is the result of intensive research and two years of development and fulfils customer demands for a reliable sample preparation solution for X-ray analysis. As a stand alone system and prepared for robot handling, the CENTAURUS can be integrated in linear automation or be used for direct connection to analyzers by conveyor belt.
