After ten months of negotiations, on 24 January 2003 FLSmidth signed a contract to supply two 5,000 tpd cement production lines to the privately-owned Dangote Group in Nigeria. Dangote Group is the largest cement importer in Nigeria providing more than a third of all cement sold in the country.
