In order to unload ordinary bulkcarriers of any size, FLSmidth offers a wide range of mechanical shipunloaders of the screwconveyor type. The mechanical unloader handles a wide range of materials - both freefloating such as cement, fly ash, slag, agribulks and alumina – and coarse such as limestone, coal and cement clinker.

The mechanical unloader has a high unloading capacity.
Depending on material characteristics, the FLSmidth CSU can achieve rated capacities of 200 to 2000 tph.

With Pneumatic Pump System the unloader installed on a pontoon and with a pneumatic system to blow the cement into a flat storage. Unloading of ships up to 35.000 dwt and with a capacity of 800 tph of cement.

The unloader installed on a floating import cement terminal and transferring the cement via a screw conveyor into the holds of the terminal ship. The unloader can also reclaim from the holds of the terminal ship and feed the cement, via one fluidized hold and vertical screw conveyors, to packing machines alternatively a bulk load out arm. Unloading of ships up to 35.000 dwt and a capacity of 800 tph.
