Seminar plan
The presentations and lectures, now in a new and improved format, are based on the experience of our instructors as well as input from plant operators around the world. Easy, step-by-step guidance is offered to improve maintenance performance. In addition, we are now offering hands-on sessions for pumps and compressors during a site visit to the FLSmidth Manheim Plant where our F-K Pumps and Rotary Vane Compressors are manufactured.

Tuesday - FK Pumps-Pneumatic Conveying:

Wednesday - Girth Gears and Symetro Gear Reducers:
• Alignment techniques
• Lubrication
• Wear analysis
• Acoustical analysis
• Preventive maintenance.
 
Thursday - Kilns:
• Kiln alignment, various methods
• Mechanical kiln balance – roller adjustment
• Kiln shell ovality and run out
• Tire creep
• Preventive maintenance.
 
Friday - Coolers:
• Alignment
• Drives
• Wear analysis
• Preventive maintenance.

Includes a welcome reception Sunday evening, all course materials, breakfast and lunch daily, and transportation to and from Harrisburg Airport.
