Customer Services offers a second-to-none portfolio of products and solutions to handle any type of bulk material: lumpy, powdery, sticky, wet or dry. Our full range of materials handling products includes complete crusher installations and silos, stackers/reclaimers and ship unloaders. We supply process design and equipment for all materials handling applications for the cement industry as well as the pulp and paper, fertiliser and related industries.

Mechanical and pneumatic ship unloaders
A ship unloader may be part of a complete terminal project including storage facilities, domes, packing plant, automation, etc. Such projects are
handled in cooperation with other FLSmidth companies and divisions.

• Mechanical unloaders handle a wide range of materials: both free-floating, such as cement, fly ash, slag, agribulks and alumina; and coarse, such as limestone, coal and cement clinker.
  
• Pneumatic ship unloaders provide complete conveying from ship to storage using only a pipeline. This makes it possible to operate even at the most difficult port situations. The pneumatic unloader handles powdery materials such as cement, fly ash and alumina.

Silos
We offer a wide range of silos for raw meal blending or for storage of raw meal or finished cement.

Crushers
The crushing process plays an important role in the overall performance of most cement plants, so the primary crusher must be carefully chosen based on operational experience at similar plants.

Feeders, gates and pumps
We offer a wide range of feeders, pumps, elevators, gates and valves for both raw materials and products.

Stacker and reclaimer systems
Stacker and reclaimer systems are used for prehomogenisation and for buffer storage. A wide range of stackers and reclaimers is available for different applications. They are suitable for raw materials in the cement, coal, pulp and paper, mining and other industries as well as power plants and ports. Customer Services has designed and supplied some of the largest stackers and reclaimers in the world.
