FLSmidth Airtech has been awarded a turnkey Contract from QCC, Qassim Cement Company, Saudi Arabia for the upgrading of air pollution control equipment at QCC kiln line no. 1. The plant is located about 400 km northwest of Riyadh and is owned by QCC.

The contract includes a new baghouse filter with almost 6,000 bags, duct work, a new ID fan, dust transport and access facilities.
The new equipment is expected to come operation 13 months from the contract date.
