Work experience in the Paper Industry

Stora Enso, Skutskär, Sweden
Upgrading of the precipitator for the recovery boiler. An old, three-chamber
precipitator with three sections in each chamber, in which all internal and electrical parts should be changed. The precipitators placed inside a housing structure above the boiler - 70 metres above ground level. The only access to the filters was through an elevator shaft with an opening of 3.0 x 3.0 metres. The removal of the old equipment and fitting of the new could not take more than 20 days for each chamber. All three chambers should be up and running within 40 days.

Södra Cell Tofte, Norway
Complete renewal of mechanical and electrical parts for 2 concrete chambers for the black liquor boiler. It was for seen that all 3 chambers should a have new parts, but the dust emission was lowered so much that it was unneces-sary to upgrade the third chamber. The boiler was stopped only 12 days for installation of the new equipment.

Stora Enso, Kaukopää, Finland
