D-FL 200 ultrasonic flow meter

The Durag D-FL 200 monitor is an ultrasonic monitor that measures flow by means of ultra sound. Ultra sound impulses are sent across the flue gas channel in an angle of 45° in relation to the flow direction.

The difference in time when a sound impulse is passing through the channel downstream and upstream is the foundation for the calculation of the gas flow in the duct. As the ultrasonic speed is dependent on temperature, the influence of temperature is compensated for in the flow measurement. The process temperature can be taken as a 4-20 mA analogue output from the instrument.

The D-FL 200 is TÜV approved according to TA Luft as well as 13. and 17. BImSchV.
